How much did your wedding dress alterations cost?

Mine was $450 for bustle, hem, and to make it smaller, I also had a corset in my dress, so she charged me more for that.

My alterations were $650. I had a lot of work done to it. side seams, cutting the train, the straps, the whole thing needed to be re-vamped a bit!

$200 for regular alterations and $700 for building more coverage on bust + sleeves 😩

Maybe that was a bad angle? I am a 34 DDD. It's tied in the back. We could have tied it and fastened it tighter?

I have lots of fitting coming up seeing that I lost almost 30 lbs since I tried this dress on. And it was a size big then. Any advice when it comes to alterations

Wow. A custom made blouse. That price is great for a total bridal custom item. Was that an intricate design?

I pick up my dress this Friday.
$525 for it to be taken in (along the back seams/zipper/buttons), hemmed and a 3 point bustle.

Kleinfeld has a flat fee of 895 (more if you're not from the area and need them rushed)

I just had a great experience today with Twins at a Time LLC in Eric Colorado. Corrinne hemmed 3 wedding dresses and bustled and added a corset to one of them for under $400.

I designed my dress and had it made to my measurements. It cost about $500. So happy with my decision!!

Oh goodness you are all very lucky. My alterations for my dress were over $1,000. 😭

$420 for taking sides and length as well as bustle

I got my dress altered! It was hemmed, a bustle was added, cups in the top and the top was brought in. Overall it was 682 dollars!

Mine will cost 380. The price will include hemming, form fit alterations, adding a bustle and adding custom three quarter sleeves.

I’m expecting to have to pay about $800. Adjusting the waist, completely changing the neckline, removing the train completely, and then whatever else is needed for it to fit me.
