Mine were about $250 for 2 dresses that needed a hem and a third that needed hem, bustle and corset added. I know I got a great deal!

I paid $700 for my dress. My mother’s a seamstress so she is doing my alterations as her wedding gift to me.

I got my dress from Bhldn, and I paid $1,000 in NYC for alterations from a boutique they recommended. It was definitely a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. She did a beautiful job, though. She took in the bodice and hem and also added lace straps to the strapless dress.

$650. Mine had to be taken in like 5 sizes, I bought it as a sample. It had 3 layers that had to be hemmed and bustled and it had lace that had to be reworked after the resizing

My husband and I brought our tuxedos on Roma and price are 675.00. The cost of each tuxedo approximately $330.00 plus taxes.

My alterations were $900 on a $5000 dress. I couldn't find a seamstress, so I went with the one they had in house.

I had someone create my Indian Blouse from just material and she charged $150.

Hey Emily! It depends on the dress and the alterations you’ll need. My dress was satin with only a few layers of tule. I had the hem taken up and a bit around the top so it would feel closer to my chest. Your seamstress will tell you to plan for any where from $450 - $700. I was on the lower end around $500. I hope this was helpful!

I didn’t actually have my dress altered. Fortunately my dress fit like a glove!

My alterations were $590, and my dress was $850. The dress needed to be taken in a lot because it was a sample dress off the rack and wasn't my size, and the beading and layers made the alterations more labor-intensive. However, I'm lucky to be tall enough that no hemming was needed.

My dress cost me around 3,000$, and alterations were only 40$. I had the bustle and removable straps out on.
