Including honeymoon, we've spent about $23k. Location will be close to our house at a nearby golf course to make it easier for family coming in from out of town.
What did yours cost? Was it worth it to you in the end?
We are still planning but on a strict budget of $18k (including honeymoon). We're located in Chicago. My brothers are gifting us the dj and limo, my mom is giving us our shower, and my aunt is gifting us our wedding shower favors.
We decided to not do traditional wedding day favors and donate money to charity as it will be used better.
I've bought items (wedding invitations, toasting flutes, unity candle, cake knife, all centerpiece details) last Christmas from Michael's and Hobby Lobby because they were on clearance due to new products coming out.
We aren't quite there yet but all the big stuff is paid for. Overall with honeymoon included it's coming out to be about $16K. We are also getting married in the DC area; Stafford, VA to be exact!
Ours is probably 8k including the honeymoon, but we are doing it cheap, saving with an afternoon wedding and more of a mini-moon closer to home than a honeymoon. Oh, and we're in AZ.
We are getting Married in Lake Tahoe Nevada and total cost for everything is going to be about 14K. Includes hotels, rings, limo, venue for ceremony and reception.
We are not doing a honey moon right now.
We are doing simple centerpieces, skipped chair covers, colored linen, programs, cake topper, toasting flutes, unity candle, cake knife. I am doing all flowers myself from safeway flowers.

We are 26 days out and paid in full.
We are having 100 guests
Total for wedding was $4,115 plus honeymoon $3,100 equals $7,215
Our wedding was in San Diego, CA. We did pretty much everything DIY, including food, so we only ended up spending around $6800 for the wedding, and $3500 on the honeymoon, so $10,300 total. I am more or less happy with just about everything except some initial disappointment with my wedding party
Dallas, TX- 100 guest, and our total was around $7k...that was a year and a half of planning and a ton of DIY. I went to Hobby Lobby every other week and bought wedding items for half off. If it wasn't wedding week I would download their coupon for half off on their website. My venue was $2,300 and that included center pieces, table linens, set up and breakdown. Food, dishes, and white glove service was aound $1,400. We bought our own liquor a little at a time and stored it in the pantry wound up spending $200 (a wholesale liquor store) for 3 bottles of vodka, 1 bottle of clear rum, 3 bottles of dark rum, 1 bottle of crown royal, 12pk of strawberita, 12pk of smirnoff ice value pack, 24 pk of bud light and 24 pk of Corona. The DJ was $400, photographer (coworker with photography on the side) $275, bartender $80. My dress was $1,200 and I was able to pay a deposit and a little every month for 6 months (Brides by Demetrios). Cakes were $196 (Grocery store). Honeymoon $450 (cheap vegas package). Officaint $100. Makeup $150. FH ring $200 Still waiting on hotel rooms for the night of and two rooms for my bridal party for pre wedding. My ring set was around 6k I dont count it because FH purchased them so yes my ring and wedding are around the same price.....go figure lol
I am glad someone asked this I was curious too! Plus, this is making me not feel so crazy now that most everyone is in the same boat! I havent been keeping really close track of all the purchases and it seems my budget keeps growing but I think we are going to top off right around 30k with wedding + honeymoon. I am getting married in Wilmington, North Carolina.
