...If you don't mind sharing! Do you wish FH spent more? Less? Do you think he got a good deal? Did you guys set a budget ahead of time, or did he pick it all by himself? If all these details are TMI for you - just show us a pic of your ring!

My e-ring is a 1.25 carat stone and cost about 10% of his annual salary (I only know this because we got it insured, or I never would have asked/cared).
I never cared about the cost, size, shape, or color. He picked it out on his own, spent what he could afford, and married me - that's all I care about.

I have no idea what my ring cost and don't have a picture on my computer here at work...but I'm loving looking at these pictures!
@m, I was really hoping you were serious about posting that thread...I have homemade strawberry cheesecake in my fridge, and am now going home to eat it. (:
Approx. $5500.00 for my ering and wedding band and that was on sale, it retails for $8500.00. When I found out how much he spent I almost pooped my pants! He spent much more then I would have liked. Luckily that was the cheapest one he picked out. He had three in mind, the other two were both on sale as well but were $8k and $11k, but thankfully he brought both my parents with him to see the rings and my mom talked him out of the other two because she knew i would be upset if he spent that much. I absolutely love my ring though!
ETA photo and to point out my ring isn't tight on me, I was making a fist to hide my unpolished nails lol!
I wanted an opal so badly and FH definitely wasn't complaining because it only ended up costing him a little over $200. Never gonna turn down a chance to show off my ring!
ETA: ugh ignore whatever weird bendy thing my fingers are doing in that second picture
This is my real ring. I have no idea how much it was really. The center stone was given to us. I think the setting and everything was around 2000 if I remember correctly. I also have no idea how big it is lol but I love it!
At the time we got engaged/FH was looking, I had no clue his budget. I'm VERY greatful for my ring & adore it but it makes me nervous wearing it sometimes- it appraised for over 40k. I totally get his reasons for a smaller wedding budget (bcs it's 1 day, the ring is forever) but it still stresses me- ha. Just like OP said - if TMI, no need to post FH got a good deal on my ring as it appraised for a lot more than he spent. He had certain things that were important to him & made sure he got them. He knew the style I liked (single round solitaire) but my band was a surprise- I'm so glad he kept it simple with a plain band. I don't think this post is judgmental at all!!! There are TONS of stunning rings here! I would have been happy with a fruit loop if that's what he had proposed with
