...If you don't mind sharing! Do you wish FH spent more? Less? Do you think he got a good deal? Did you guys set a budget ahead of time, or did he pick it all by himself? If all these details are TMI for you - just show us a pic of your ring!

To answer the ?, my DH spen about $3500 for my ring and 1,000 for my band. Its not the price, it that he picked out something that was gorgeous and unique to me and thats all that matters. =)
If he had spent more or less, i wouldnt have minded one bit. Its the thought and the sentiment behind it!
Melissa, is yours a 2 carat? I really wanted 2 but didn't want him to spend 20k. When we looked at the hearts of fire stones or whatever they're called, the 1C's were starting at like 17k!!! I was like, yea babe, no. For that price range I would want the extra carat.
Melissa - OMG How do you even lift your hand off the ground with that sucker?! It's really is great. Not for me because I would be too terrified to wear it in fear of getting robbed. Lol. And I would hit it on everything. But, very nice, as I'm sure you know
My ering cost 1700. It was actually 1500 but I wanted to convert it to yellow gold instead of white gold cause I am allergic to white gold so that was 200 dollars to convert it to yellow gold. Sept we are going to check for the wedding ring to match my ering.
The reason I didn't share the cost of my ring is because people would take my answer as bragging. Looking back, the same can be said about the talk about wedding budgets and I don't see the difference. However, I will give the specs if people are curious. Here's a pic.
My husband spent close to what Melissa quoted (well...under, by a bit) My center stone is just larger than 1.5 cts, but it's colorless and "high quality" as he kept saying over and over again. Don't get me wrong; I love it. But I am uneasy with the amount spent.
