I’ve gotten kind of crazy with them... we are getting married in a garden in a super nice hotel we got a crazy deal on... so I started making some. Spent $800 on them for the reception, then found a florist I LOVED, spent $800 on the bridal party and family, and then kept adding more from her... I’m at $3,800 now!!! Oh my God how did that happen?! I’m taking tons of photos and have a videographer, and we have disposable cameras at the wedding tables so I’m hoping I’ll remember them forever. I will have the fake ones to decorate my house with post, but my gosh!!! Did anyone else go crazy on this or just me?

My florist bill is just under $1100 in Upstate NY.

This is for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids, flower girl, boutonnieres for groom. 4 groomsmen, 2 ring bearers, 2 fathers, 2 grandfathers, corsages for 2 moms, 1 grandmother, and 12 centerpiece arrangements.

Yeah I don’t think I could ever bring myself to spend that much on floral we’re going to DIY our own centerpieces so we’re only have my bouquet bridesmaids our arch groomsman dad boutineer and mother coursages and a welcome wooden sign with floral so if cane to about $1100 which is fine since that’s including setup/delivery! We splurged more on videography/photography florals we’re not our main priority but happy we’re going to have beautiful arrangements on a budget

Biggest priority was spending as much time as possible with family members we don't often get to see. So we rented a house where everyone could stay, brought in pizzas the night before, cooked dinner for everyone the evening of the wedding (the reception was a luncheon), and cooked breakfast for everyone the morning after. That gave us almost two days with our guests, instead of just greeting them briefly at formal events.

Second biggest was having a Jewish wedding. So we had to pay rent for the synagogue, plus pay more for the rabbi than we would have for a different type of officiant. We also made a chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) as seen in my icon, and purchased a ketubah (formal Jewish marriage contract) that was a work of art. (See photo below.)

Everything else was secondary. Of the $10,000 we spent on our wedding, those two things were close to $5,000.

We're doing silk flowers for everything, and I think for the flowers and the fee for someone to put it together is less than $400.

That's why we stopped it at wedding party and parents lol. We opted for a simpler cake design to help keep costs down and gave our FG silk petals to toss.

We spent 500$ for my bouquet a toss bouquet 7 boutonnières (including my fh) two corsages. Silk flowers because I wanted dahlias in my bouquet. We paid more because of the gold dipping of the flowers and the gold foliage. It would have only been about 400 without the gold tips.

We spent a little under $1,500. I wish we had had a bigger flower budget! I love flowers and think they make sure a big difference.

    We had:

    -1 bridal bouquet

    -5 bridesmaid bouquets

    -1 junior bridesmaid bouquet

    -7 bouts for the groomsmen/dads

    -1 bout for H

-1 large arrangement for our entry way table

    -11 centerpieces (2 different styles)

-1 garland for the head table (it was fake but had real eucalyptus tied in)

    -Flowers for the cake

One of our money saving measures was reusing the bridesmaid bouquets at the head table for decor. We just had vases ready for them to be placed after the ceremony.

Our florist also provided all the votive candles and holders. Our set up fee was minimal, I think it was like $150?

I love that you focused on those things though! How personable!!! Wish we had the money to rent a house the day before but we are having about 75% of the wedding guests at our house for the rehearsal dinner and it’s at our house

Those are fantastic things to splurge on!!! How much did y’all pay for your photographer and videographer? We got two videographers but didn’t cost much bc I’m doing my own editing (I have experience in it)

You truly are! What are you using to decorate in place of flowers?
