How much did you pay to rent church for ceremony?

Ours was $600 and included a "coordinator" of sorts who came and helped us out for the rehearsal and the day of. The church is historic and is only open in the summer so I know they rely on donations and the fees from weddings to maintain it so I had no problem paying that much.

That is a big sum of money. Ours is $500 for the church, required and then $150 for singer and another $150 for organist. It's definitely not a bargain paying for the church. I understand the money goes towards things for the better but I still can't fathom why/how it is so much, we're having trouble affording it for sure

I would say that does sound a little high.

1600$ and I guess it's reasonable because the church is in Manhattan
