How much did you pay for wedding photographer?

$2,800 for 8 hours with two photographers (they're a husband/wife duo). Includes a USB with all photos and rights to print.

$3,900 for two photogs, engagement photos, 10 hrs on wedding day, deluxe photo album, printing rights. We also opted to spend more due to the fact we are getting married in a dark theater and needed to know that they knew how to shoot in these conditions and also weren't doing a videographer so took that and applied it to photog. We are thrill with engagement photos and can't wait for wedding photos. Money well spent.

Also at out engagement photos they brought $20,000+ in equipment. Not only a camera. They had lighting and the reflectors and literally lit up an entire bridge for our photos.

This was well over what we planned to spend, we thought closer to $2000, and that is closer to the norm in our area, but after a friends wedding photos were terrible and they actually redid them we decided that we want to remember all our hard work with something we love and love looking at. We could never imagine spending under $1000, but we are older and saved for many years to have what we wanted. Good luck and make sure you do your homework like other are saying.

$3695 - I live in the expensive land of nj. To me the photography was one of my splurges in my budget. They do amazing work. For that price I get an engagement shoot, 10 hours of coverage, 2 photographers, a gallery wrap and some other things. If photography is important to you this is not the area to skimp. The difference between a mediocre and great photographer is monumental!! Good luck

$2,000 for 6hrs and a photo booth

$2660 for one photog (his wife is HMUA, so we may use her services...if so she'll be second shooter for ceremony only). He'll be with us easily 12 hours (especially if wife is involved). This is just for his time/talent and the USB of all photos. Albums will be ordered after the event. Engagement session (we technically already had one) is just a couple hundred more. Planning to do that soon.

My friend offered to do it, but she's also my MOH, she said her sister could do the ceremony. I don't like this idea honestly. I found a lady on fb that needs extra cash and used to do pro photos. $40 per hour.

$1800 for our photographer. The cinematographer I wanted is ridiculously expensive (starting point is $5000!) so I opted not to have any.

I got a steal of a deal my dad's friend used to be a pro but has since retired found out I had my step mom asking around to married couples she knows about what photography they used and he offered his services for the entire ceremony and reception for 100 when he was doing it as a job I know he changed a lot more. I get all rights to the photos he uses both digital and film cameras and I have been to a few weddings were he was the photographer and the pictures are wonderful

Approximately 5k-6k all day including prewedding shoot, I got a good deal cause I got his video team which is another 4K... but he's one of the best in the business!

1600 for ten hours, all rights to images and 400-700 of them. Also included was engagement session.
