How much did you pay for wedding photographer?

$3200 for one photographer, all day, engagement session and print rights.

$1,800 for 5hrs, 2 photographers and rights to prints in the Fl keys

$3150 for 8 hours with a second photographer. It was my splurge.

2000 for 8 hrs. Two photographers and their assistant. We get 1 large album and two smaller ones.

It will really depend on where you are on what the going rate is but even then there is such a large range. Photography was the most important thing for me so I knew that I was willing to splurge a bit.

2,800 for 8 hours day of, engagement photos and travel fee for the wedding included.

I have gotten my engagement photos back and I have to say I am even more secured in that I chose the right photographer for our day. I spent many hours looking and narrowing down our options. I was very specific in the style that I wanted.

I found a groupon package for $400 for 8 hours. It only comes with one photographer and a cd with the digital copies of the photos, and they'll have little watermarks in the corners, but hey. $400 for a fantastic photographer. I did my engagement shoot with this photographer (for $150) and she's amazing and with all the money we save from this means she's gonna get an amazing tip!

We are paying 2000 for 12 hrs 2 photographers a 20pgs album and 4 prints

$3,000 for 8 hours of coverage, two photographers, and an engagement session (Cleveland, OH). We got a 10% discount for booking early so $2,700

1900 for 8 hrs one photographer. We get complete print rights and all of our images touched up and back within a month. I'm in the NoVA area

Wow ours is 4K for 7 hours 1 photographer but includes a slideshow, photo album, digital album layout, I phone app, and a USB drive

400.00 would scare the piss outta me, and keep in mind that an engagement shoot is nothing like a wedding shoot.

I was quoted $4k for two shooters, 10 hours, digital files, album, etc.. the engagement shoot will be an extra $500. It's the first place I went so I will need to shop around a bit, but this seems to be pretty standard for a good photographer in the Long Island, NY area.

Rachel, that should tell you something. I cannot fathom settling on a wedding photographer, maybe re-examining your criteria would make for a more worthwhile investment.

$3000 for two photographers for the entire wedding day, I loved the pictures, and after all is said and done, they're all I have left. So worth it. I recommend spending as much as you can possibly afford.
