How much did you pay for wedding photographer?

$600 for one photographer for 8hrs from Indiana travelling to Chicago.

1800$ but we got a steal. Engagment session, bridal shoot before the wedding, rehearsal, all day at the wedding and reception, and all the free prints up to 90 days after the wedding. And we get two parent albums and one huge album for us. And a video of the ceremony this package is usually 4800$tho.

We paid the going rate in NYC prices for our photographer. Our videographer was cheaper ($1,500) because he was from PA.

I'd run from some of these quotes. What professional is only charging $400? He/She is making pennies off of that!

400 for 8 hrs?

No. Any decent photographer is going to be roughly 400 per HOUR. Anything less than 200/hr isn't worth it.

Not sure about your area and the prices there but my advice is that these are your memories to have forever so do not skimp on quality! Pay what you feel is appropriate for amazing lifelong memories

Also, make sure you really read the photo contract and are 100% OK with it, you want control of your images as much as possible

2700 for 10 hrs, 2 shooters, several hundred photos, photo "wall" (like a photo booth but against a wall), and special effect photos (with a pixel stick?)

400 out of our pocket for the day. My family paid the difference as a gift to us; so I don't quite know the complete total but according to her website she starts about 950 for 3 hours. Sorry,if that wasn't helpful.

Mine was $2800, 2 photographers, they'll be there for the getting ready for both of us and to the night end. We are also doing a post shoot. It includes our book, parents books,unwatermarked thumb drive and idk what else..and that was a steal bc people in my area started at $5k and everyone was up-charging for the date.

We are in Western NY, $3,800 for a photographer and videographer for 9 hours.

I live in New York(Long Island) I paid 4500 for 1 photographer the whole day, plus album, engagement session, save the dates, thank you cards, a whole bunch of different sized prints, and the videographer included with an edited and unedited version.
