How much did you pay for videographer?

Trinity, on January 31, 2020 at 2:48 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
Hello All, I am sure this topic has been covered, but I wanted the most update information. I am debating whether or not to have a videographer. We have already spent almost 4K for our photographer, i am not sure if I can afford videographer. The one we really liked are around 3k. 2 videographers, drone, 10 hours. How much did you pay for and what does it include?
Thank you!

We got a deal through lilyandlime.com.

It was about 2k for 8 hrs of video and 8 hrs of photos.

It includes video, a printed canvas photo, I think they said about 1,300 photos. We have to print our own photos. They let you choose a photographer via their website. It pretty much a leap of faith but it was the best deal out their that we could afford.

Our videographer is just under $2k. It includes all day (12+ hours) with 1 videographer. We will get a 2-3 hour video and a short 8-10 minute highlight video.

For our photographer and videographer we are paying $2500. Honey & Hive is our photographer they also offer videography as an Add on to any of their packages. We got a pretty great deal with our wedding being on a Friday in California our photographer offered 10% off for Friday and Sunday Weddings. Since we are out of state we didn't do the engagement session which was credited back to our final total. Our videography includes videographer/drone, 5-10 minute highlight reel, 2-3 minute to share on social media (video and audio), aerial footage of venue and photography. Hope this helps!

Our budget is around $3000 and that's pretty standard for the area. One we're looking at includes 2 videographers, 8 hours, and a highlight.

I'm in the Chicagoland area, and we're paying $3,500 for our photographer and $1,500 for our videographer. $1,500 was on the low end for video in our area too. Most I saw were easily over 2 grand

We paid right at $3,000 for 2 videographers, a drone, & a full days worth of footage. We got our full ceremony, our special moments (letter readings, first look, dances, speeches, prayers), & a highlight film.

We paid $930 for 3 hours of videography... highlight video, full edited video, and raw footage. Though our videographer ended up staying an extra 30 minutes because he was AWESOME and the party was just starting to pick up as he was going to leave

We are paying 1800 for 10 hours: one videographer, drone, 4-6 min highlight film, ceremony, toasts, and first dance edits, and raw footage. I live in Ohio and it seems like the average was around 2.5k

I got a good deal through Wedding Bug. 6 hours of video, we get all the raw footage on USB and a 5-7 minute highlight video I believe. I'm spending a little over $1,000 with tax included.

We hired a husband & wife duo that does photography & videography! Got yourself an amazing deal of 8+ hours (they said they stay until they feel like they've gotten enough coverage, so overall there really is no limit) for $3k.

I was so prepared to spend soooo much more for a good photographer because that was the vendor we cared the most about & then we were originally not going to do videography but I really wanted to after listening to a wedding videographer I follow on IG talk about how wedding videos captures the moments the bride & groom miss, you get to see the reactions & love, and hear the noises of all the celebration - that really got me lol.

Thank you everyone for your response. I, now, have a better idea of whether or not I should hire a videographer.
