How much are you spending on stationery ?

It can be so expensive! I wanted that rustic look. I found someone on etsy that has a printable template set that I like for $50. I am doing the save the dates, invites, and rsvp's through them. They customize and send the PDF. I have a friend at kinkos who is going to print at cost and then I will address and add belly bands etc. I am thinking with everything it should be about $200. Thats everything including envelopes for 125 people. The etsy person also does programs and thanks your which i am considering as well. In the end its what you want and what you are willing to research. If you are into having it easy and don't mind the cost you can go high end. If not, then do some research and you can find creative cute options that won't break the bank. Good luck!

Those invitations are beautiful and if it is in your budget, then you should go for it, if it is that important to you. I spent $2800 on 75 invitations, response cards, menus, tables names and stamps and it was totally worth it.

Thanks Hayley and Kris. I admit I get a little misty eyed looking at them again. DH not so much as he worries it will put ideas into my head for the baptism invites. Haven't got a final quote from that vendor yet but as I keep adding little extras I think I may need to make sure hubby is sitting down when I break the news

Invitations weren't important to us. We did DIY kits from Michaels and it cost us $50 for the stationary (invitations, envelopes and RSVP's), $25 for the thank you's, whatever it cost to print, and about $80 in stamps (we bought stamps a couple times, so I'm not 100% certain this is correct). Stamps are so expensive! We did stamp our RSVP envelopes and our invitations required two stamps.

We sent 59 invitations out (bought 100).

We haven't gotten this far, but the ones I show MyLo are going to run between $250 - $350.

I also love stationery and really liked the idea of letterpress. I wanted to have formal and classic invites to set the tone for our wedding. I'll be spending about $1200-$1500 for the stationery for our 120 person wedding. We did letterpress for the invites, enclosures and thank you cards. We'll have flat printing for the rest of our stationery (menus, programs, placecards) to keep the costs reasonable. In order to save a little money, I'm doing the calligraphy and envelope liners myself.

If you're still looking around, I would recommend checking out AP Design Co. On Etsy. The owner,Alicia, is wonderful to work with. Her prices were very reasonable and our invite suite looks beautiful...I couldn't be more pleased.

Wow, this is a stroll down memory lane. It is so nice to see your invites again Andrene. I do believe Andrene and EDubbs had the best invites for weddings around my wedding date(October 1, 2011 - both date twins). Both were over the top with WOW.

STDS were from magnet street about $220 invites we're from DB $200 for 150 for invites, rsvps, and monogram sticker. I went simple classy with the invites (white with navy blue writing), I have never kept one from a wedding so I don't expect others too. Haven't brought them to te post office yet to get priced.

@Tiffany: How did you make out at the shop? I can't wait to see what you picked. If you go with Vera you should also look into doing calligraphy for addressing the envelopes. Found the best person to do mine. It was so pretty I almost didn't want to mail them. In fact, most of them were hand delivered. Just could not trust the post office with my babies

That's pretty expensive. You should consider other options. PrintPlace would be a good one. Even if you have the budget, you should still about saving.
