How Many Venues Should You Visit in a Day?

I know that all things planning can get very exhausting if you try and pack too much in at once. You shouldn't make 8 dress appointments in one day, you shouldn't meet 10 photographers in a day, I know there is a balance. When it comes to venues, how many would you suggest visiting in a day? We...

I know that all things planning can get very exhausting if you try and pack too much in at once. You shouldn't make 8 dress appointments in one day, you shouldn't meet 10 photographers in a day, I know there is a balance. When it comes to venues, how many would you suggest visiting in a day? We thought we knew our venue, but the photographer I met with and love suggested some better, and cheaper options. We need to start booking soon so I am trying to fill my weekends with tours but don't want to overdo it!

    Engagements tend to be things where its all or nothing. There really isn't an inbetween here. Either you did agree to get married and are engaged or you didn't.


    Why the confusion? Whats the cause?

    Honestly I’d wait to get officially engaged to look at venues, 3-5 at a time, with both your SO and your families.

    I'm confused why you keep contradicting yourself. You've literally said you weren't engaged and that you are engaged - which one is it?

    We only visited two venues and we did one on Saturday and one on Sunday. I definitely wouldn't do more than like two or three a day, just to give yourself time to digest all the information you're given while you're there, and so they don't start to all blend together your head. If you're doing multiple in a day definitely allow for travel time in between and extra time in case you go a little bit over.


    Edit: lol, there is no head blending. Blending together IN your head.
