How many Venues did you view?

None.

I found mine online while helping someone else look for one.

I really liked the location and amenities.

I toured 4 and took FH to 3. We loved the same venue and that's what we got.

I looked at 30 online, set up 5 tours, looked at 2, and ended up cancelling the last 3 tours. My fiancé absolutely fell in love with the 2nd venue so I knew it was the one.

I didn’t tour any! We are planning a destination wedding and were planning on doing a scouting trip down there to check out potential venues. I looked at venues online and called around to check prices to try to get it narrowed down to 5 for us to view during our trip. One of them was just such a great deal we couldn’t pass it up! We put down the deposit sight unseen! We going down there in November, so hopefully it’s all we’d hoped it be!

Easily viewed over 30 online. Made appointments to view 6. Actually toured 3. I fell in love with the 3rd (my fiance said he could see my face light up while we toured the 3rd venue). We talked about it on the drive home. By the time I got home, I called and cancelled the other tours and we set up a time to review the contract and put down the deposit on the 3rd venue.

Daughter and I toured 10. She created a spreadsheet to compare "apples-to-apples," and, like you, found that when she added everything in, the total cost to have the wedding at nine of the ten options was within a $1000 range from top to bottom (the one outlier was about $**** more). Once she realized that wedding price-fixing in So Cal is real, it was easy to choose the one she truly loved and she never looked back. Their wedding was perfect, in large part due to choosing the right venue (e.g., perfect location, excellent food/beverage/service, AWESOME event coordinator). Good luck!

I believed we toured 7 or 8 in person but probably looked at every option in our state online lol.

We toured two venues and booked the second.

We toured two venues. We had a third scheduled but when we looked at ours we knew for sure that’s where we wanted our wedding.

Only toured one! I had done ALOT of searching online to find places around our budget and only 2 that were we really liked. 1 of those 2 never responded to my many attempts to set a tour and the one we saw we fell in love with so it was decided!

My FH and I actually only looked at 2. The first one we were so hyped about because one of my future bridesmaids told us it would be perfect for us and we would love it but when we actually went and saw it we were so disappointed because it was nothing like we wanted. Then the 2nd one we looked at, we only looked at it because we didn’t we “thought” we should just look at venues to get another idea of what we didn’t want but when we got there and we did a tour we absolutely fell in love and in less than 1 week we signed the contract and paid 1/2 of the venue and we aren’t looking back!! We are so excited to get married at our venue!!

I looked at 4 venues. The one I ended up loving was slightly out of budget. I tod venue manager how much I loved it and is there anything you can do or include to make it more in my budget. Negotiate everything!

I reached out to about 60 venues online for pricing/availability. Then, I found one I loved with my date available. I knew I loved it based on the pictures, but when we toured it, we knew it was the one! It was the only venue we toured.

Finally found a venue and signed the contract 🎉
