How many times have you sized your ring?

I don't think so, but I wouldn't resize it that much more. Mine started off life as a 7, and they added a half shank to make it a 10.5 to fit my thicker finger. Then when it came in, it was way too loose. Spins on my finger still. I'm going to get it resized one more time to bring it back to a 10, which I feel is more my size, which will also include my wedding band enhancer. Just be careful because resizing too much will weaken the band.

Depending on the ring it absolutely can be compromised with resizing. You shouldn’t be having to resize your ring numerous times if they’ve measured you properly. You may want to check with another jeweler before making any more changes.

When was the last time that you got your ring resized? Was it recently? As you know, your finger size fluctuates throughout the day and changes with temperature too.

If you feel like your ring is genuinely too small and is causing yoru discomfort, then yes, you should talk to your jeweler and ask their opinion.

I had to have my engagement ring sized twice. Once because it was too tight. The next be oof my wedding band pushes it up on my finger.

It probably won't damage it by going down or up another .25, but it depends on the design. Don't worry about your jeweler being annoyed, it's important that your ring fits you right. My ring was originally a size 6 (I bought a vintage ring) that I had resized to 4.5, but honestly, I could probably take it down to 4.25. I probably will when I get my wedding band sized.
