Mrs. Bauer-*$, on June 15, 2015 at 5:38 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 20

Hello Ladies. Long time no see I posted a mini BAM last week and now finally have my professional pictures back. well as soon as I get them moved over to my computer I will post some of my favorites.. In looking at them I have to ask. How many photos did you get back from your photographer? I spoke with mine today and he admitted that he has never given a bride that many photos well it is OVER 600!! and I loved every one of them it just made us remember how awesome the day was.

Yes I got over 600 too. It was the perfect amount. They were all edited but there were a couple of things they missed. Well luckily I found this cool app online that if you submit your wedding video it extracts still frame shots from it so I got those cool little moments that my photographers weren't able to get.

I know that 600 is quite a bit being a wedding photographer myself and depending on the wedding I usually give my brides between 150-250. oh and @Karie remember that it is the busiest season for photographers. I can't wait to post them on here.

50-100 per hour is typical, depending on whether it's one or two photographers. Our contract specifically states that we should expect to receive at least 50 per hour of coverage.

One photographer told me I should expect 75 pictures for the 8 hours of coverage I was going to pay for. That's about 1 picture every ten minutes, which was ridiculous. She did not get my business!

My contract didn't say how many images we would get. But the proofs we got 627.

For our "elopement" we got about 260 photos, we had the photographer for about 2 and a half hours.

We had the photographer for 4 hours (it was a small afternoon wedding with no bridal party). We got about 225 images. He didn't miss anything, so we were pleased with that number. It really was an intimate affair with about 40 guests. 600 pics would've seemed like overkill in our situation.

I just met with my photographer today to go over our contract. She said she has been evaluating her work lately and she tends to get between 75-100 good photos per hour. We have her for 8 hours so we are guessing somewhere between 800-1000 photos of the day.

There were 2 of them and we got 1629 pictures!!!!!! Yes many are like 5 shots of important wedding party shots, but still. I have a big decisions to make. I only get 100 or so in the album. I do have them all on cds and have the rights to do whatever with them.

We had one photographer for 4 hours and she gave us 800 pics on a thumb drive. There are so many amazing pictures....it has been extremely difficult to decide which ones to print and display.

We got 55 edited photos for our engagement shoot. The same photographer is shooting our wedding as well as my grandmother who is a photographer. She sells hers in an art gallery though; she's not an event photographer but I'm really excited to see what she gives us. My wedding photographer will have a list of specific shots we want a usual but grandma will have free reign to do whatever.
