How many people are in your wedding party?

Curious to see how many people are in your wedding party! Did you decide on a certain number of people and then pick your party, or the other way around? If you have a small wedding party, are you having a smaller wedding? Are the larger wedding parties having a larger wedding? Let me know!

5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I didn’t want more than 5 so I decided on the number first. We are having about 150 people total if everyone attends.

My husband originally wanted 8 friends to be his groomsmen but once I pointed out how expensive and difficult to coordinate that would be, he quickly changed his mind lol. I had 4 girls who I really wanted as my bridesmaids which was a much more reasonable number, so he just ended up matching my 4 too. Not that we cared too much about to being “even” but since he has way more friends that would’ve been hurt to be left out, saying “well we each agreed to only have 4 so I had to limit it” was a way he avoided hurting peoples feelings! We had 98 people attend our wedding but 147 invited. The size of the wedding didn’t really influence the size of our bridal party... like if we had had 50 guests or 300 guests we still would’ve had 4 on each side. The only thing that probably would’ve changed that is if we had a VERY small wedding (like 20 or less) in which case we probably wouldn’t have done a bridal party at all, or MAYBE just a best man and MOH

I honestly wonder how I see all these brides with 6 or more bridesmaids. I've invited probably close to 200 guests but my childhood best friend who I asked to be my MoH hardly ever talks to me.. we do live a few hours away now, but still, I'm wondering if I should ask someone else. And my 13yo baby sister is under my stepmom's consent and she isn't even committed to attending my wedding.

I have about 125 guests! No bridal party, other then who’s giving me away. Small, yet intimate!

Maybe your stepmother will allow you to pick her up and take her with you. I would also recommend using someone you talk to on a regular basis that you’re close to, to be apart of your bridal party. I wouldn’t pick someone that I go a long period of time without speaking too. Just my opinion.

before deciding to do my wedding more intimate, and having 100 invites, we opted out of our wedding of 300!

I had a Matron of honor, maid of honor, and 6 bridesmaids.

We are having 5 on each side we invited about 100 people including bridal party to the wedding. I originally wanted to have 3 on each side, but FH couldn't pick just 3 of his best friends so we had to expand! Oh well!

I have one maid of honor, two flower girls, two page boys, and one junior bridesmaid. My wedding is only about 50 people but even if it were bigger I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to be part of my wedding party. I’m not that close with anyone.

I am having 5 on my side (four of my siblings and my best friend who is MOH) and there will be 4 on my FW’s side. We will be having around 70 guests, give or take a few!

I decided on who was going to be bridesmaids and then asked my fiancé how many he was going to have. I wanted to have the same amount of people on each side. So I thought about my 2 sisters and 2 future sisters in law and finding the last one was hard.

Hi there, we are having a small intimate wedding of 50. We both have relatively small families so it just happened to be a small wedding!

We will only have 50 guests and we chose our respective siblings (2 each) for the wedding party. This will be an adults only wedding so no flower girl or ring bearer.

I wanted to have 8 girls in it and my fiancé believes in equality, but he couldn’t find 8 men. I finally limited it down to 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen for our wedding!

We're having a big wedding and we've invited 270 people.

EDIT: Because I forgot a flower girl.

Hi! I have 8 bridesmaids and my fiance has 6 groomsmen. We decided who we wanted and didn't worry about numbers. It truly was about quality and not quantity here! I happened to have more but it was more important to us to have everyone we wanted over it being symmetrical or whatever.
