How many people are in your wedding party?

Curious to see how many people are in your wedding party! Did you decide on a certain number of people and then pick your party, or the other way around? If you have a small wedding party, are you having a smaller wedding? Are the larger wedding parties having a larger wedding? Let me know!

We have 8 and 8 on each side. 1 FG and 1 RB. We also have 4 couples of sponsors who are walking before the bridal party (god parents to our wedding Filipino tradition) My wedding won't be to big originally we had a guest list of like 250 then we realized who really is in our lives as we are not rich nor do we want to pay for those many people to come when they really aren't in our lives like that. We narroed it down to 160 but alot are kids and few parents said they won't take their kids so we are expecting with RSVPs of nos and some kids not to come, wedding coordinator said out of 160 that probably 115 will attend which is fine with us!

5 bridesmaids & 2 junior bridesmaids on my side, 6 groomsmen on his side! Our wedding guest list is 120, but we are expecting some declines, more like 80-100 ppl (most are OOT guests).

We had two total. (They weren't really assigned to a side.) They were my two adult children. Although we had a very small wedding, I don't think we would have had more regardless of the size of the wedding. We wanted those specific people--not a specific number.

I had 9 (1 MOH, 6 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids) and my husband had 8 (1 best man, 5 groomsmen and 2 junior groomsmen). We just picked our closest friends and each other's siblings, no number in mind before hand.

I definitely don't think its right to come up with a number beforehand because then you're either leaving important people out all because of a number or asking people you really aren't close to just to meet your number,.

I have 8 bridesmaids and FH has 10 groomsmen. My girls are made up of friends, cousins, and his sisters. His guys are mostly friends and his brother and both my brothers. We are having a pretty big wedding. Just ordered our save the dates so our official invite count is about 342(which is INSANE).

We are only having a best man and a matron of honor. We are having a small wedding but I don’t think we would have had a larger wedding party, even if we were having a bigger wedding.

We're having 4 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, 1 flower girl, and 2 ring bearers. We're also considering our officiant as an honorary groomsman as he's FHs best friend.

We plan to invite 150 people. Our venue is contracted for 120 minimum. We will have 16 attendants- 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen. Originally I wanted 5 bridesmaids because for some reason I liked that odd number specifically and it seemed manageable. Then FH upped it to 6 because he didn’t want to leave out certain people. I respected his thought process and then upped the number to 8. I decided that I can’t pick and choose one friend over another and so I asked all of them or as many as I could. I could have gone with more but he literally doesn’t have that many friends lol

1 MOH, 1 Best Man, 1 Flower Girl - that's it! Purposely chose to have a minimal bridal party.

I always wanted my two cousins to be a part of the wedding and I had originally considered having my good friends being in the wedding but my friends are having monetary issues so I decided to just have my cousins involved so as to not stress out my friends.

    2 bridesmaids total

3 groomsmen (groom had two people he wanted for sure and the last friend immediately wanted to be involved so I told my FH to add him as well)

    1 ring bearer

    1 flower girl
