How many of yall got tulle wedding dresses?

Jeanne, on November 15, 2014 at 12:57 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

I ordered mine it's a tulle beaded ball gown but I'm so nervous! My wedding is outdoor in May so the satin and taffeta seemed to heavy but I hated the tulle at first. The only fits and designs of dresses I liked were tulle and I absolutely love my dress I just don't want people saying it looks cheap... I don't know how to add pictures but the dress I bought is Brides by Demetrios style545 if you want to google it.

I googled it, and I think is beautiful!! The belts, the strap, and all the sparke makes it so unqiue. The ball gown shape is awesome, and so deep V back. So beautiful! Smiley smile

It's beautiful and doesn't look cheap at all--especially with all of the sparkle! My gown had a tulle skirt, and I loved it Smiley smile

I have tulle and I don't think it makes a dress look cheap. Mine is also beaded but I'm having a hard time with the bustle bc of the material so I'm kind of regretting getting it.

Melissa-- I really hated a lot of the bustles I saw for my dress-- they all looked a wad of toilet paper was stuck down the back. My seamstress came up with this-- it has three points and is set lower down than most bustles so that it doesn't get all bunchy. Not sure if that's the problem you're having, but thought I'd share just in case it was helpful Smiley smile

I always said I hated tulle, too. Until I tried it on. Something so magical about the way it flows!

@Barbara I felt the same way. It looked like I had a saggy diaper haha. I actually ended up cutting off most of my train today and left a little bit but not enough that it needed a bustle.

That has been my biggest stress since I've been waiting! THE BUSTLE! Or if I should just cut the train off...

I also have a tulle gown, and a fear of how my bustle will look. Every time someone comes back and says their bustle tore or broke I get even more scared!

My gown is tulle and I plan on getting the train removed during alterations because I hate the way bustles look. I think they make the dress look like the evil step sisters from Cinderella lol.

Mine was beaded tulle/lace and I'm still in love with it. It's so comfortable--you're going to love it too!

Your gown i gorgeous! Does not look cheap at all!

I also never thought tulle would look nice on me, and I tried some tulle gowns, even though I didn't choose a tulle gown It didn't look too bad on me.
