How Many Guests Did You at Your Wedding?

Seems like you had a standard amount of declines. I think 123 is still plenty to have a good party! Mine was 200.

Yeah we went from 187 to like 70. I wouldn't worry about it.

I am hoping for a large decline rate. We wanted around 70, ended up inviting 140. We'll see what happens.

I wanted 80-100. We invited 128 and have 95 coming. Pretty good I'd say.

I'd love to have that many... I don't want a huge wedding.

We invited 255. We are hoping for 220ish. We currently have about 180 yes and still waiting on about 50 people. I think we will be right around what we wanted! WOO!

We're right at the same place you are. We invited 195 total and our final guest count is 126. Most of our declines were FFIL's family who are jerks anyway, so we didn't care too much that they wouldn't be there, but it was still hard to see how many people declined. Definitely embrace it though, and put the money that you would have spent on their meals to good use elsewhere! We were able to bump up our floral budget and put the rest toward our honeymoon which I was pumped about!

We invited 150. We still have about 35 guests to track down, but I expect our final number to be about 90. A few more declines than we expected, but we have a lot of friends that live abroad, so we knew that there would be a lot of guests that couldn't attend.

That sounds like an awesome size! Way better to be in the position where you can add and upgrade things instead of trying to squeeze people in!

We invited 125 and are expecting 111 (but we're still waiting on a few RSVP stragglers).

We invited about 190, and we are at 65 coming right now. Still have around 35 people to track down, but this is actually more than we thought! The wedding is OOT for pretty much all our guests since our families don't live in the area. We were only expecting 50, so I'm pleasantly surprised!

We planned for a 100 person wedding. We over invited by 31 (mostly to please my DH's family). We told the caterers 92 people (94 including us) after RSVPs and calls, etc, etc. On the day of there were 84 people (86 including us). We had about 10 people who RSVP'd and didn't show, 2 people invited who didn't RSVP's but showed up anyway, and 5 people [4 1st cousins of my DH (technically weren't invited but came with their parents) and my uncle decided to bring a random friend, wtf!!!] who weren't invited. So we over payed for 8 people, however we had 3 photographers/videographer who ate (but of course didn't drink). So, therefore we only overpayedfor 5 people. There was plenty of food left over, but I am overall happy because my biggest fear was running out of food, since I've been to large weddings where certain food items ran out before everyone got to have some.

We also invited 195 guests - 165 RSVP'd Yes - 7 no shows = 158 Total attended

I invited 195, so far 117 have RSVP'd yes, 2 No and the rest still waiting on....

We invited 83 and with another week to go I expect about 55 yeses.

You had a standard ratio, and 123 is plenty of guests. That's actually slightly larger than I would want for mine, ymmv.
