How many guests are you inviting?

We are having a small wedding that seems to keep getting a little bigger. Originally we were thinking around 30 people. But well likely have closer to 60 guests. I'm torn. 50% of me is thrilled this many people want to go. The other 50% is panicking at the rising cost of dinner and drinks! Either way, we're only inviting immediate family and close friends.

We will have around 300 on our list by the time it's all said and done, but we would love to keep it around 250

The max amount of people that can fit at our reception venue is 140, but we are inviting around 150 since we know about 10 of those people will not be able to attend for health or travel reasons. However, we still want to extend the invitation so they know we would have loved for them to attend.

Total, including us and our WP was 160. We so didn't want that many, but his family us huge. I was hoping for 80 and we ended up with 96. It was the perfect amount of people for us.

I was planning on a smaller wedding, but we are inviting ~160.

We're getting married in New Orleans next weekend. We've never been but we had planned a trip to explore NOLA and decided to just turn it into our wedding and honeymoon trip with our parents, siblings and their significant others. We're so excited that our countdown is finally in the single digits.

We've invited 90 guests. We wanted it small at first (35 guests) but my FH wanted to invite more of his family, so he did. So far we've got 30 RSVPs.

We are planning to invite about 150-200 guest

I think that'll be fine! Save the dates aren't always necessary!
