How many... dresses have you tried on?

I'm shocked people find their dress so quickly! I must've gone to at least 8 different salons and tried on at least 40 dresses. My dress was at the second store I visited but I kept shopping to make sure... eventually I went back for it and I still love it the most despite looking at other wedding dresses quite often. I found out about a couple other salons in the area though and kind of wish I had visited them too before choosing... haha I am quite picky and the FOMO is real.

I tried on 4 dresses.

I tried on 6. The sixth one I wanted to try on initially at my first fitting but they didn’t have it in the store, so I went with my gut and ordered it & absolutely love it!

I tried on 4 or 5, but ultimately went back to the first one I tried on.

I think I tried on 5.

Just one dress .

None to date. I've fallen for an online dress. I'm thinking of going to the shops anyway so I can have that experience though.

I tried on 11 dresses.

I tried on probably 30 dresses in total. My first bridal shop I went to was terrible! They made me feel very uncomfortable and whipped me in and out of dresses so fast that I was done in 30 minutes... and none of them were worth the price! I didn't feel like I was heard. She didn't ask anything about my wedding. The second one I went to went above and beyond everything!!! They heard me and asked all sorts of questions to get to know me and she picked all the dresses out and had my try things I never would have thought looked good but they did. The third dress I tried on that day ended up being it but she let me try on qbout 20 dresses probably and spent 2 hours with us and never felt like we needed to rush. After the first place I thought I would never have my bridal moment because I didn't like a single dress before and didn't feel like a bride. But then it all came together and I cried and had that moment.

At least 50 over our three year engagement

I tried on 5 but knew the 2nd one was my dress! I put on the other 3 but there was no doubt. My wedding is in 5 days and I still love it and I’m happy I found it! My sister-in-law tried on over 100. We stopped counting but she joked I needed to try on 99 more just to be sure.

I'd estimate around 25 -- I went to five shops and tried on probably about five at each shop.

I hate shopping but since it's such a big purchase (in so many ways!) I wanted to make SURE I was getting the right dress and the best price. In the end I got a ballroom gown for $500, and spent a lovely couple of days out with my family, so I'm very happy with my method. Though I will say, this WAS before COVID...not sure brides should be going to five different shops these days...

If you don't really want to go to shops, I'd say don't. The experience of going to a shop and not being enthused (because you love something else) is really not worth any of the hassle in normal times or risk right now.

Around five I think...

About 6-8. I don’t remember the exact number but it was less than 10
