How many cups of petals do you need?

Hi all! I am currently trying to order some petals for my flower girls but I am not sure how much I need. I have two flower girls but the aisle from the back of the church to the front isn't very long, maybe 12 feet. How many cups do you suggest? Thank you!

How old are your flower girls? I’ve seen flower girls drop one petal ever couple steps and I've seen them throw handfuls. It really depends on the age and personality of your girls, which I think is part of the fun. The advice I’ve seen is anywhere from 4-8 cups per flower girl.

Hey Mary!!
Since your flower girls are a little older, you will be able to explain to them that they need to make sure they have enough petals to walk up the whole aisle. I would perhaps go for 6-8 cups per flower girl just to ensure that they don't run out if they are very generous with they handfuls!
What color petals are you ordering? 🌸
