How many bunches do i need!

India, on November 2, 2019 at 10:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8
So I’m using baby’s breath, roses and pine cones in a mason jar as my centerpieces. I will also be using the baby’s breath to make the boutonnières, my bouquet, and for other decor. How many bunches would I need. Sam’s club has them in 3,5,10, or 13. I want them to look something like this.

It really depends on how many tables you are decorating, how many boutonnieres you need to make and any other decor you are using baby's breath for. I would recommend getting a bunch just to do a trial run of one until you get it just the way you want it. That will give you a better idea how many you will need to finish the rest.

Do you have ideas for what other decor you need it for? Or how big you want your centerpieces? And do you know how big the bunches are?

That's why I recommend getting 1 bunch and making a centerpiece however large you ultimately want it. I've seen centerpieces using several bunches and I've seen them using only a couple of stems. For the boutonnieres you won't need much. Without a trial run, I would bet on getting at least 10 to get through your centerpieces, boutonnieres, and possibly have a little left over if you need to jazz up any other decor. With a trial you will be able to see how much each jar is using, how big the centerpieces will be, and if you need more than 1 per table (some longer tables need more than 1 if they are small otherwise it can look unbalanced), etc and can adjust the number from there

@Jodie I want the centerpieces as big as the picture I showed so not that big. But I’m thinking 10 as well. I will also be using it for my bouquet. So my bouquet, the centerpieces for 9 tables and then 4 boutonnières. The tables only seat 6 so they are not that big. I will be putting candles on each side of the mason jars so it won’t look unbalanced.

By the way it sounds I would think 10 should be enough as long as they aren't really small bunches.

@ Jodie I think they have about 5-6 stems in one bunch. Since I will putting 3 roses and 3 pine cones with the baby’s breath. It should be enough. Thank you for your help!
