Started out with four but added one more, so five in total. I will also have a flower girl but don't think I will have a ring bearer (might have her dad walk her down since she will only be three years old).
I don’t have many girlfriends that I’m super close with so I have one maid of honor and my fiancé will have one best man... we have a lot of kid cousins, nieces, and nephews that’ll be part of the bridal party.. 5 of the girls will be flower girls and the 3 boys will be our heralds which they’ll be going down the aisle with signs saying “here comes your bride” etc.
I have four bridesmaids and my fiance has three groomsmen! The numbers are a little off but that's okay, for me its more about who's up there with us than how many.

Pulsing agree with you more. I have 5 bridesmaids, one maid of honor and just asked another friend to be honorary since she’s been taking lead on bachelorette party. I wish I would’ve done more research on just how much more expensive this will be (Two gifts each, rehearsal dinner, hair and makeup). Yikes. No turning back now unfortunately.

According to your profile, we’re wedding date twins (I got married on Jan 16th this year)!! You have time to save some money and you’ll be able to take advantage of Black Friday sales for their gifts (that’s what I did and I saved a bunch). As for hair and makeup, I was willing to pay for their makeup, but hair was on their own (I trusted them to be able to do their own hair and I didn’t care how they styled it). I modified my wedding due to COVID so I didn’t end up having a wedding party and most of them did not attend the wedding when we changed the wedding from 250 people to 20 (we changed our plans before anyone bought dresses or rented tuxes), but they were so supportive and still worked their hardest to make sure I had COVID friendly prewedding events and experiences so I still bought them gifts and recognized them as my “virtual” bridal party.
I will be having 4 total ( 1 MOH, 2 Bridesmaids & 1 Junior Bridesmaid) and my FH has 1 Best Man... He said that’s all he needs. Everything about this wedding and about us is Non-Traditional, so it fits lol. You can have as many or as little or none at all in your bridal party. Just remember, the more people in your bridal party, the more expensive it is (gifts).
I am having 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. I know big wedding party lol

I’m planning on a small Wedding of 50-ish guests so I have a Maid of Honor (My fiancé has a Best Man), and then we each have 3 additional Maids and Men. I would say that if you want 1 Maid of Honor and then 5 Bridesmaids, that would be fine, but that’s the most I’d suggest doing.
I am having a big wedding- I will have 12 bridesmaids (including my sister as Maid of Honor and my best friend as Matron of Honor tag teaming duties) My mom thought some of them would say no---- but they all said yes. I couldn't imagine any of them not being part of our special day. My fiancé is having more trouble but we found 12 as well. We are keeping costs to a minimum for them and to keep everyone organized we have a wedding coordinator as well!
So, this is my second wedding...first time was an "oops" lol. Anyway. I plan on having three, and not really doing the MOH/BM titles. They're just my girls. It isn't going to be super formal or anything. We're having a fun, relaxed day at the zoo.
I was in one wedding, years and years ago. Both bride and grooms side had 9 of us-two of us were MOH/Best Men, and the other seven were the bridesmaids and groomsmen. In all honesty, there were way too many of us and so many different personalities mixed in that it caused A LOT of drama. If you want a big party, I say go for it, just definitely make sure the strong personalities don't try and push limits, and keep that communication going.
