I’m thinking 4 , and my fiancé will match it on his grooms men side! That way pictures will be perfectly even with bride and groom in center and no odd numbers and also for if just the bride and bridesmaids imagine it 2 girls on each side while bride is center.. that’s how I came to my decision.

Such as were everyone on board with their responsibilities? Getting everything ordered on time paying what they needed to pay for? I’m scared I’m going to have that problem. I have six right now and I’m hoping that they all are willing to do everything that’s needed for them to do.

So far, no issues! We ordered dresses through Azazie, so I let everyone pick their own dresses, and we decided on a date that everyone was going to order their dresses on (since Azazie will guarantee that they're made from the same dye lot if they're all ordered within 24 hours of each other). The date was set 2-3 weeks in advance so everyone could be prepared and had advance notice.
I would suggest asking everyone for their budgets, and do your best to keep everything under budget. Once you figure out dresses, set dates that you'd like everyone to order their dresses and such. Try to build some extra time into those dates, just to account for potential delays in shipping, or delays in someone ordering a dress late, or needing to exchange sizing, etc. Check with them to make sure they are comfortable with those dates. Send out a reminder or two as the date approaches, but don't spam their phones with too much info. Check in with them the day after the deadline to ensure everyone was successful in ordering their dresses. If someone doesn't order theirs on time, follow up with them separately. Otherwise, I would trust them to do what they need to do.
I have 1 matron of honor, 1 maid of honor, 1 bridesmaid and 1 Junior bridesmaid. I also have 2 best men and 2 groomsmen and a flower guy! my dog is the ring bearer.
After asking some of my cousins to be my bridesmaids and one of them my maid of honor, I was super excited. Then they started quitting for reasons like, not having time to talk about the plans for the wedding or not knowing if they would have money to buy their shoes (By the way, I already have their dresses). My fiance and I have 6 kids total. Twin girls and 4 boys. We will just have them as our wedding party. They will pick the sing that they want to walk down the aisle too and we will have a great time.
