Let me preface this by saying I'm the second oldest of 7 siblings lol and I'm the 2nd to last to get married (the last unmarried sibling is the youngest and is only 19). I've always envisioned my siblings walking down the aisle with their spouses sort of as a look at what/who came before us plus a few of our truest best friends. So with all that pre-explained lol I have 11 bridesmaids (incl MOH) and there's 10 groomsmen (incl BM). It's a large wedding party but I come from a very large family and couldn't honestly picture it any other way. So excited!!
I have three bridesmaids and two groomsmen, I wanted to keep the number small due to our Wedding being small. Just my closes friend and my sisters and his brothers.
We each have 5. I wanted my favorite people even if it isn’t even in pics. I originally wanted 4 do that it would look better but threw that out the window since I couldn’t choose between my friends.
We have 6 on each side. I think my fiance would have been content with four. I also have 3 MoHs. I spent far too much time stressing over having 1, 2, or 3 and how to choose... like waking myself up at 2am debating it with myself... ultimately I decided people might think I'm ridiculous for doing it, but it was what my heart wanted to do! I'm also an older bride (40 now, 41 on our big day) which gives me a different perspective. The women in my party have been my friends for over 20 years. I can say without a doubt they've been with me through my best and worst times, and I just can't imagine not having them by my side on my wedding day.
I have 5 bridesmaids and my fiancé has 6 groomsman ... plus a flower girl and ring bearer I actually thought my number was kinda small lol but I think it’s about average idk though
I have two bridesmaid and a matron of honor. I think less is more. It's a lot of work to get different people together on the same page. Furthermore, the more people, the higher the cost for things.
Do whatever makes you happy. Try not to feel bad not including every single person you know. Their wallets will thank you.....
Zero! We are not having bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead those individuals who are special to us get to wear a special color that is designated for those individuals.
I'm having 5, in which we compromised with that due to my FIance originally wanted 8. That was too many for me. I only wanted 2-3 max but it worked out with 5 total (1 MOH & 4 Bridesmaids) no drama with my crew Thank goodness..my sister, SIL, best friend, favorite cousin & God Sister (who happens to be his best friend) in which is how we met.
I have 6 (5 bridesmaids and 1 MOH) and my Fiancé has 6 as well! Honestly at first I was going to have 9, but I focused on who I really want standing up there on our special day 🥰 I asked my fiancé’s 2 sisters to be my bridesmaids because 1) I have a wonderful relationship with them and 2) I see it as bringing our families even closer. But that’s just my take on it! Everyone’s relationships are different and very bride is different 💕
