I initially had 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen, but my 8th bridesmaid dropped out. We replaced her, and THAT one dropped out. So Now there are 7, and one of the groomsmen was relieved to step down and just be a guest instead of a groomsman. 14 is still a big wedding party, but it's better than 16.

This is my second go around and I have 5 all family members ❤️ My first wedding I had 7.
Im going to have 5 bridesmaids. My daughters are 3 junior bridesmaids and my 2 best friends. We are having a smaller intimate wedding so it works for us.
I will have either 2 bridesmaids and a maid of honor or just the maid of honor. My fiancé is deciding if he picks the friends he is closest to or just leaves all of them as guests and only has his childhood best friend as his best man. Best man and maid of honor, my older sister, have already agreed and committed.
I’m having 2 MOH’s and 6 bridesmaids, we will also be having 2 best men and 7 bridesmen.

I don't think 6 is too many at all! We both have 5.. 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen so a total of 10 people in our bridal party. We also have 1 flower girl and 2 ring bearers.
As far as walking down you can do whatever you want so if you both end up with different numbers maybe you have a girl walk down alone or two girls walk down with one guy.. however it works for you and what you're looking for. For me I actually have 2 MOHs (both my sisters) and he only has 1 best man, but I don't like the look of 2 girls walking down with 1 guy and since I only have a total of 5 girls I am having them walk down just one with one.
My FH only wants 3, but I could easily put 6 or 7 in my party! Haha! We decided to go with smaller (and for me—since I don’t have siblings—folks who have known me the longest). This makes it easier for us, easier to switch schedules in case something crazy happens with COVID, and easier to let our friends come and participate in other ways (that is probably cheaper for them, honestly!). We’re also in our mid-thirties...so, quality is better than quantity at our age
I have 4 bridesmaid, plus 1 maid of honor, and 1 matron of honor. I couldn't do without both of my sisters. And didn't want them to feel like one is more cherished and preferred than the other. Choosing both for me was the best option, plus they both possess refreshing and inspiring gifts which includes a wealth of knowledge.
