I have 7! At first I thought it was too much as well but it was brought to my attention “why does it matter” if they’re going to be invited to the wedding anyway does it matter where they sit and their roles? They’re going to be at the wedding regardless Which is true. I say have as many as you want! I have 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsman and 2 Ushers. So included my FH and I we have a wedding party 18.
With covid, we are having zero in the actual wedding. We did let them know who they are and they were all completely fine with not having to do anything the day of the wedding or having to purchase outfits. My buddies were all really excited that they can just come and enjoy the wedding. Our wedding is on top of a mountain, so the less people obstructing the view the better 😂
I’m having a civil wedding. Is it possible to have braidsmaid in the courthouse ?

I have one matron of honor, one maid of honor which is my baby sister and 12 brides maids, it was hard to pick each girl had something important in my life but also each girl will either have a special task to do during my weeding. total of 14.
I have four bridesmaids and one bridesman. You only get married once (right?) - enjoy your company. My fiance only has four in his party so it's not even. Whatever!
It took us a while to figure out what we wanted in terms of a wedding party for a number of reasons. First, we are in a later stage of life than most couples who are planning a wedding and a larger wedding party felt awkward. Second, I've never been married and it's important for me to keep some traditional elements in our wedding. However, this will be my fiancé's third marriage and he didn't want a wedding party at all (been there, done that) so we compromised. We decided on four: maid of honor, best man and my fiancé's daughter will be my bridesmaid and his son will be his groomsman. We are both pleased with our decision!
Originally had 12 cut down to 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen. Our guest list is 300 but with Covid-19 I am thinking to cut that down to 6 and have an intimate micro wedding. We paid off the venue and are re scheduling for next year 2022. Still debating to include them in the micro or wait until next year to include them. Covid really has us all in a loop hole when it comes to planning a wedding.
I wanted 6 but since my wedding party is small, it wouldn't look good for some many "guest" to be party of the bridal party instead of sitting as guests. So we went with 2.
We have decided to not do a wedding party. We are having a small wedding of about 50 people and keeping it rather casual. This just fits us the best. Also, we will have siblings (his side) and a few friends be there with us day of for support
