My wedding is December 4th and we did hire a wedding planner but I have her for the last month before my wedding. My fiancé and I hired all the services for our venue and reception. I hope this runs smoothly since I’m not there. I’m praying for the best. 😊

That’s the same month of my wedding😁10/4/21, congratulations to you. You have a pretty big bridal party, me as well. I have 6 bridesmaids, 1 maid of honor and 1 junior bride. My fiancé has 1 best man and 4 groomsman. We’re using the wagon idea as well, his grandson is 2 and another one is 5 so the 5yr old will be pulling the 2 yr old while ringing the bell saying the bride is coming. I see you say your planning your wedding yourself, how is the planning coming alone cause I’m doing the same thing but it’s so stressful for me? I’m wondering should I get someone to come in and set everything up for me (decorations) because I know that it’s going to be overwhelming the day before.

I have been pondering if I should do the same thing, hire a planner at the end. I have been completing all the task of getting the vendors myself so I think it may be wise to save money by hiring a planner at the end to come in and make sure everything is set up correctly.
I have 8 (1 moh and 7 bridesmaids) and my fiancé has 8 (1 bm and 7 groomsmen!) Our whole guest list is pretty much just our family and we wanted to invite our friends and my fiancé was having a hard time choosing who to pick so we decided to just have all of our friends (and a few cousins) in our wedding party since we are so close with all of them and don’t have a whole lot of friends lol. It’s been harder for me personally to plan and get everyone together with a bigger wedding party but I couldn’t imagine my wedding without these people standing by me so I know it will be so worth it!

We had a big wedding party. H had 5 on his side and I had 7 on mine including my daughter who was Junior BM and my best friend who was Man of Honor. H was supposed to have 6 on his side but one Groomsman backed out the week before our wedding. We had quite a bit of bridal party drama leading up to the wedding weekend BUT none wedding weekend and amazingly everyone got along very well but we were lucky. It can be expensive to have a large bridal party but as long as you manage things well it's not bad.
I have 4 bridesmaids (including my MOH). My fiancé also has 4 grooms men (including his best man). It really all depends on what you want! We wanted a more intimate feeling when it came to our wedding. However, I was also given the advise to think about who will I still have a friendships with in many years. After thinking about that I was able to narrow it down to people that I know will be in my life for the long road!
I actually have 0 bridesmaids and groomsmen, we have such a tight budget it's just not possible right now. I'm sure the two of you will figure out the best option for your situation. Good luck!
