How long were you together before you got engaged? How long was/is your engagement?

Awww that’s so sweet! ☺️ My fiancé and I had been together for nearly four years when he proposed. That was back in December and we are getting married this October, so a little over 10 months. 💕

Over 12 years of being together when I proposed. Our engagement will be 17 months and we'll have been together 14 years at the point we are married. First time brides too.

We were together 4 years and living together for 3 when we got engaged. 2 weeks until our 5th anniversary, and 3.5 months to our wedding!

Fun story! My FH and I knew each other and were best friends for a year before we started dating. I always was crazy about him but we never made any moves. Until he asked me for my dads phone number and called him to ask my hand in marriage. Yup. He initially told me that he asked my dad if we could date and my dad (who was in on it) confirmed the story so we "dated" for a week until BAM he proposed. After one week! We got civily married a month after that because it just felt right. Now we are doing a big church marriage on our one year anniversary! So we've only been together for a year but have had feelings for 2. When you know, you know I guess lol

My FH proposed the day after our 5th Anniversary and will be getting married 19 months after our engagement.

My fh I were together for 14 months. Our engagement is 16 months. Shouldve been 9 months but because of things beyond our control, we will had to push it.

That's great! My FH and I have been together over 5 years. He proposed at a little over 3 years and our engagement will be 2 years and 2 months long.

We were together for a bit over 2 years when we got engaged. our engagement was about a year long

We were together for 14 months before we got engaged. We will be together for 3 years and 4 months when we get married in 2020

Technically 3 months, officially about 2.5 years. He wanted me to move in, I didnt want that unless we were engaged, he proposed, but it wasnt anything ~official~ (aka, no ring, and he hadnt met my family) and I told him to get back to me later after he thought more about it, lol. No need to rush into things that early! But he was willing to wait until I was more comfortable. He likes to joke that I "turned him down" the first time. 😂

We decided to make it official about 8 months after we met, but we'd decided a while before then that it'd be a good idea to get married. So our engagement is going to last a whole lot longer than the early part of our relationship!

We were together 1 year and 2 months when he proposed to me. Engaged for 2 years and marrying in September on 21st .

I asked him unofficially early on and we were talking about it loads. I asked him why he asked me at the time he did and if he would have done it sooner. He said he would have asked me at 3 months of the relationship but due to family trouble/mental health and fear of me saying g no for being to early, he waited.

He had no plan of how to ask so he just came out with it when we were enjoying a few drinks with each other at home.

I wouldn't change it though

We've been together 9 years and are getting married on the weekend of our 10 year anniversary! he proposed on christmas 2018.

We will be together 3 years June 20th, engagement was December 25th. Wedding date December 14th, 2019. Funny thing is we have known each other for 15 years.
