The FH and I were together for almost 3 years before announcing the engagement (which was done on mutual decision that we discussed for almost 6 months, instead of popping the question) and will have been together for almost 4 years by the time we have our wedding. I'm getting a lot of talk from my family on how we haven't been together long enough to get married.
What are your thoughts? How long is long enough or too short to be together before getting engaged? Personally, I feel 2 years is a good time, especially if you've lived together for one of them, if you get what I mean. Lol
