How long were you together before getting engaged/married?

We were together for 3 years before he proposed. 2 years long distance, and then a year living together. We had been talking about it and it was pretty much a given for over a year before it happened. I don't think there is any definitive time you have to be together. 2 years seems like a good number, but it really depends on the relationship. I have known couples ready at 6 months, and others who have been together for 6+ years who still arent ready.

We were together only 6 months when FH proposed, but we had talked about it and knew that's where we were going. We will have been together for 2 years and 3 months when we get married. I could always have waited longer, but it doesn't bother me that he asked so soon

We got engaged on our 5th anniversary and we're getting married on our 6th

FW and I got together June 2010, moved in together December 2011, got engaged December 2014, and will have gotten married year 5 June 2015

We'll be in our 15th year as a couple when we marry.

When you know you know. There is no magic number on how long you should be together. I was with my ex husband for almost 3 years when we got engaged and married at 4 years. Our marriage lasted 10 years. Just because you're together longer doesn't mean that your marriage will last longer. I know that FH is the one and I don't care what anyone else has to say. The people that matter to us, are happy for us.

He proposed after 10 months, and we got married exactly one year after that. 22 months from our first date to our wedding day.

Got engaged after 4 years, getting married the day before our 6th anniversary

We got engaged after 10 months, moved in together at our 1 year, and will be getting married after 3.5 years together.
