How long were you together before getting engaged?

We were together for 6 years and he proposed the day before our 7th year anniversary in front of our families.

Met Sept 7, he proposed Jan 26, wedding is May 7.

We were together for 3 years! Well basically 4 because, it was like 2 months until our 4 year of dating!

3.5 years and will be getting married right after our 5 year anniversary of meeting and just prior to our dating anniversary.

We were together 15 years before he proposed.

Just a few months shy of 8 years when he popped the question!

3 and a half years

11 months. Started dating 1/23/18 and got engaged on my birthday 1/4/19.

4 years and 8 months.

Just a couple of months, and it was a total surprise. He never even asked the question, he just put a ring on my hand.

We’ve been together for a year and then he proposed.

3 and 1/2 years

Andre and I were together for 2 1/2 years before he found the right time to finally "pop the question"

About 8 years!

21 months, almost 2 years. We'll be engaged about 1 year and 3 months by the time we get married

We were together for a little over 2 years before we got engaged.

3 months to engagement, another 3 months to wedding..................but that was 48 beautiful years ago. And yes, we even lived together for the 4 months before the wedding. SCANDALOUS in 1971. But yeah, I highly recommend living together first. There have been a few bad years, but the great years way outweighed the bad and the rest of the good years have been worth every minute. So much so, I'm here planning the 50 year celebration. Woohoo!

8 months. I knew after 7 weeks that I would marry him one day and I'd thought about proposing for a while. I decided to wait until our first visit, and proposed a week after I got home.
