How long were you together before getting engaged?

Almost 2 1/2 years!

We were together for three months

We were together for a year.

4 years. He asked me 3 days after our 4th anniversary. He asked while we were on a weekend getaway. Which was a surprise because he always said he would never ask on a holiday or in vacation. I didnt realize he was proposing at first. I thought he was telling me a bunch of nice things in honor of our anniversary. He said "I have something for you" I thought it was perfume, but I saw the name of a jeweler on the box and it a hit me. Cue instant sobbing. We will get married 10/12/19 and be together 1 month shy of six years together.

We met October 29, 2018. Our first date was November 1, 2018. He proposed on January 1, 2019. Our wedding date is September 7, 2019. It's crazy, but it feels like we have known each other our whole lives. Even our kids instantly got along.

Exactly 2.5 years! He proposed on our 2.5 year “anniversary.” Which was actually a pure coincidence. However, we were “together” but not “officially together” for like 3 months before we actually started dating so it depends on when you count the official start of the relationship. Haha.

21 years! I didn't want to be married, because of seeing so much divorce. We've already outlasted most of the marriages we know.

We were together 11 months. He proposed oct. 9th 2016 and then we are getting married June 20th, 2020. We got engaged quickly but chose to do a long engagement.
