A friend of mine met her husband, got engaged and married in a matter of 6 months and it got me thinking how stressed I would be if I planned a wedding in the 2 1/2 month time frame that she did. My FH and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and when we get married we will have been engaged for 1 year and 4 months. How long is your engagement?

We are in the exact same boat. I am a teacher as well so we got engaged in February but last summer was way too close so we had to settle for this summer.
15 months! We got engaged in February and wanted a spring wedding. It was either 15 months or 3

It will be 16 months. I definitely could have had it earlier and at times I wish I did only because I’m getting so anxious for the day to come. Luckily I’m approaching about 100 days out. It’s just felt like forever where I’ve seen people get engaged after me and married before- I know it’s not any competition but I’m just ready for it to be here!
I wanted a full year to plan, we will have been engaged 13 months. I wanted to be able to plan with my fiancée little at a time and keep my inner bossy brat at bay. Haha Planning has been so enjoyable and fun and I can’t wait to see it all come together 😍
By the time wedding comes our engagement would be a year and 2 months! Ours is only long because we want our wedding anniversary close to our relationship anniversary! The week of the wedding will mark 6 years for us!!!!

EXACT SAME!! We got engaged on the 17th of February! There was no way ibeas putting together (And paying for) a wedding in 6 months or less!! To be honest tho, I've truly enjoyed having the time to do everything!
My fiance engaged on my birthday 12/16/17 which was also our 7 month mark. And we plan on wedding on our 1 year anniversary, so you can see the time I'm allotted to plan everything
So we’re not actually engaged yet, waiting until my divorce is done. (3 years legally separated, 1 3/4 years of the divorce process) but we are planning everything out for March of 2019.
We will have been engaged a full year. He proposed 9/8/17 & we’re getting married 9/8/18

On our wedding day 09/21/18 we will have been together 7 Years exactly (wedding day is our anniversary.) Engaged for 1 year and 1 day 💍 (proposed 09/20/17)
We were together just shy of 4 years before he proposed, and our engagement will be 14 months long. With our schedules, we needed more time to plan. My sister had a 6 month engagement, and my best friend only was engaged 2 months. It's definitly doable, but the amount of time required greatly depends on many factors.
My FH and I dated and broke up 8 years ago. In March it will be our 6 year anniversary since we rekindled our relationship. We will have been engaged for 22 months before our August 5th wedding this year.
