How late is too late to send thank you cards?

I think that would be fine, but I wouldn't delay any longer in sending them out once you do get the printed cards! You could also ask your photographer if they can send you a sneak peek of a couple images earlier than the 6 weeks, which would help you send the thank you cards out sooner. Congratulations on your recent wedding!!

I wouldn't wait that long. As Lisa suggested, I would reach out to your photographer about a sneak peek. Our photographer got us a sneak peek with about 20 photos in about a week, and we used one of those photos for our thank you cards.

I'll echo using those sneak peek photos, as that's probably what we'll end up doing! I just got a thank you card about 2 months ago from a wedding that took place Feb 29, 2020. Granted, definitely don't wait that long, but I think there's also a lot of grace being given right now in terms of people needing a little extra time for things. Give yourself a little bit of that grace, too. Also.... your whole crown/veil situation is AWESOME!

Per google it’s says 2-3 weeks but no more than 3 months but up to a year (which I think is too long) I would say get the thanks you out within 2 months after wedding and ask photographer for a sneak peek. I was lucky and got my sneak peek the next day so I can use one of the photos for thank yous
