How early do you book your honeymoon?

Our wedding is June, 2021 and if everything calms down by then we plan to go to Paris. How early are y’all booking?

You should book minimum 6 months out. Sometimes earlier doesn’t have flights or hotel reservations that far out but any closer may not give you enough time.

I think it’s a little too early to book now but yeah I want to say six months out like PP said is OK enough.

We're planning to book ours around 10 months out, but I think anywhere from 6-12 months is a good time to book (or once flights/hotels are available).

My wedding is June 2021 and I had my honeymoon booked since April of this year. One being we were on quarantine and I was bored researching lol but I’m happy I did because I checked the prices last night and my resort for the same dates are $2000 more then when I booked back in April! Thankfully it’s a reservation son no deposit was made which made me feel better in case we need to cancel due to Covid. I say start researching now as I feel like prices will increase soon.

I would say 6 months in advance, but it may be a little harder with covid so maybe 3-4 months

We booked ours awhile back for February. We'll be leaving the week after our wedding. Due to COVID, I would look into flexible/refundable flight tickets and check the cancellation policy just in case.

I totally get that. We had all our vendors except florist booked before covid...and we have to decide in the next month if we’re continuing as planned or postponing. At this point nothing has been canceled and the state allows gatherings in our area of 50, but everywhere else is 250. I’m hopeful with summer dying down and people returning to their homes (because the beaches are currently beyond packed since there is literally nothing else to do) that the case count will taper off. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

We booked our original honeymoon 1 year out. Unfortunately, we won't be able to go to Greece now until Sept. 2021 (over 2 years after booking lol). With everything happening with Covid and all the new laws we booked our small honeymoon for Sept 2020 6 weeks before we leave.
