How Do you Feel About Glasses?

I love them!!! you look super cute in your glasses and if you wear them most of the time then it represents you and should embrace them on your wedding day! I think you can still be dresses up and look amazing in glasses and I totally agree with you being able to see hubby's reaction is way more important than trying to look a certain way! your beautiful and are still gonna look stunning plus as you said you can always take them off for other pictures!!!

I personally don't like the idea of wearing glasses at the wedding because for sure I will be crying, plus they might very likely cause flare in the photos. I'm sorry to hear that you're not a good candidate for contacts! May I ask why?

If you need glasses, I would suggest wearing them. My sister was my maid of honor and she normally wears contacts, but she had a stratch on her cornea and she was supposed to wear glasses for two weeks, but she choose to ignore that and worn contacts for the wedding. Her eyes were bothering her all day because she didn't want to wear glasses. If she had just worn her glasses she would have been comfortable. You don't want to be like my sister who was uncomfortable and complaining all day. You will want to be comfortable and enjoy your wedding and if you can't properly see then you won't enjoy your wedding.

I didn't wear my glasses on our wedding day. I can see fine close up, but need them to drive. I personally think I look better without them (and spent so much on makeup) and I didn't want them to reflect weirdly in our pictures or video. I did keep them in my clutch just in case though!

Wear them! My husband has had glasses for so long that they’re like part of his face lol. It doesn’t look like “him” as much without them, honestly. Contacts freak him out :p he wore glasses our whole ceremony and reception. Took them off for a few pictures, but not all of them.

I too wear glasses. I'm also am unsure. I am going to ask my Dr though.

Ummmm...if you can see.. then no. If not...yes. That's not a very hard decision. Either way I think you will still look very beautiful

I think if you always wear glasses, then it becomes a part of you. No need to take them off, you look great with them on.

If you need them you need them 🤷🏻‍♀️My DH wears glasses and idk the glasses are his look and would he weird without them. Perhaps do pics with them in and off

I think those are cute and you should totally rock them for your wedding. I’ll be wearing glasses for mine. Contacts give me migraines and I’m completely blind without my glasses. I had a friend recently get married and the advice she gave me was to take pictures with and without them.

If your FH is use to seeing you in glasses then wear them. Maybe take them off for some pictures so you don’t cause a glare but otherwise do what makes you comfortable.

You can always get the glasses you want and get a "fun" wedding pair from an online site like eyebuydirect.com or zenni optical - they have pretty cheap frames that could end up being a back up pair.

You should wear them! They are super cute and you would hate to not be able to see people at your wedding. Nothing wrong with wearing glasses at your wedding.

I love them! They look a lot like mine! Wear your glasses. I always do. I've worn glasses since I was 15 and don't like contacts so even at my prom and stuff I wore my glasses. I think they looked just fine. Especially since I'm a daily wear-er I think not wearing them would have made me feel less like me.

You look so pretty in glasses! I say wear them if you need them. I wear contacts because to me they are more comfortable, but I wouldn’t want to risk missing things at my wedding (actually seeing them) because I was shy about my glasses. My FH needs them and he looks adorable in them.

I was really conflicted on this, and ended up getting Lasik eye surgery! The wedding was really just the small push I needed to do something I've been considering for 10+ years.
