How did you “propose” to your Maid of Honour?

John Smith, on December 11, 2019 at 9:54 AM Posted in Planning 0 15
How did you “propose” to your maid of honour? I’m seeing my sister for Christmas so I’m going to ask her then! I got this little scratcher and these Champaign classes Smiley smile

Also, how did you “propose” to your bridesmaids? It’ll be my fiancé’s younger sisters so I’m not close to them and don’t feel the need to do something over-the-top.
Thanks!

I did the same thing for each of my girls (I have a maid of honor, matron of honor, and bridesmaid). I bought them these bags and put their favorite wine in them and wrote a hand-written paragraph about how much they mean to me on the back of these cards Smiley smile

I did a box and I filled it with Pink things that we can use for the wedding/ getting ready. I put a face mask, mini champagne bottle & Glass, and nail polish with a card. Smiley smile

I gave the bracelet pictured below to my maid of honor. I just asked the rest of my bridal without doing anything else.

I got these boxes on Amazon. They had a separate one for Maid (or Matron) of Honor. I filled them with sugar cookies, champagne, a candle, a face mask, and info cards. My MOH was my sister so she already knew she was my MOH.

I proposed to her giving her a box full of goodies. I made it personal by writing her name on the box and inserting a picture of us in it, along with other things. I also provided a card that had in big glitter letters “will you be my maid of honor?” She absolutely loved it! How did you “propose” to your Maid of Honour? 10

I did a scratch off card like the one you showed, and a candle! Just something small. Then, I plan to give them more gifts at the rehearsal dinner!

Sooo I originally bought her these earrings from Etsy with the traditional "can't tie the knot without you" but they took MONTHS to arrive! We ended up having to evacuate for Hurricane Dorian near where she lives and I was like "dang, I might as well do it now instead of waiting another 4 months when I may or may not see her!" I ended up buying a wooden rose and a cute tiny "partner in crime" card from an antique store and wrote "will you be my MOH" and then our conversation segued into wedding stuff and I was like "oh my gosh I forgot I got you something" and pulled out the card and was just staring at her doing my best to time everything perfectly, "anyways. There's a lot that I don't know and there's so many decisions, but there is one thing I know I need for sure" and I was able to time that RIGHT as she had opened and read the card!
