Tabatha, on January 18, 2020 at 9:22 AM Posted in Planning 1 8
My dad passed away a year ago and I want to include him in everything. I need more ideas tho then just a picture or a sign. I know I want to get the little picture frames to put on my flowers but I need more ideas. Thank you! I get married on 12/12/2020💕

I am doing a piece of jewelry from my grandmother and aunt. And for my grandfather I’m using his cowboy tie around my flowers.

We also had a moment of silence and during that time my husband and I both put single white roses on the empty chairs we left for our loved ones as our officiant read their names.

I wore a locket with my dad's picture. My brother walked me down the aisle and in response to "who presents this woman" replied "on behalf of those who are here and those who could not be, I do." I danced with my brother during the father-daughter dance, and they played the song from which my dad got his nickname for me.

My dad passed away 3 years ago. I’m having his two lifelong best friends be my “brides men” instead of having regular bridesmaids, and his oldest brother is walking me down the aisle. I’m planning on having my mom do the “father-daughter” dance with me.

Our officiant read the names of loved ones that passed away at the beginning of the ceremony.

So this is what we’re doing to honor my niece, but the wand will be pointed up not down. We will have a quote from Harry Potter about loved ones never leaving us and it’ll say “this wand is raised in honor of ____” or something along those lines.

My father passed away 12 years ago, and the way I'm honoring him is having my wedding on his birthday. I'm a teacher, and our fall break is that week, which works out nicely for me. My fiance's father is also deceased, and we're still thinking of a way to honor him.
