How did you decide on your wedding planner?

My husband and I were torn between two day-of coordinators. We compared pricing and what was all included in each package, and also took into consideration which person we both felt the most connected to. While we felt that both options would be great, there was one that we felt was just a slightly better fit for us than the other. Part of it was based on total cost for equivalent packages (I think it was like a $100 difference between the two options), and the rest was based on who we felt that we had a closer connection with.

Definitely take into consideration what each one includes (do they help coordinate your rehearsal? Setup/tear down? Hours included on wedding day? Specific services provided?), and also weigh in how you feel around each person. Do you feel like you can comfortably spend your whole wedding day around them, and trust them to handle any unexpected tasks? Can they gracefully take charge of a situation to make sure it meets your wishes? Use your answers to those questions to help guide you in selecting the right coordinator.

Once I had my finalists I went with whoever I meshed well with. It was more of just whoever made me feel comfortable and important. Every conversation I have with my planner is easy and always seems like I’m talking to a good friend. My advice would be to go with your gut and whoever eases your mind and makes you feel comfortable.

We made sure to zoom with ours. We needed to make sure we vibed and got the feeling that she really cared about the couples she worked with and cared about what she does. And then obviously we didn’t hire anyone who wasn’t very responsive with emails

Hi and Congratulations on your upcoming wedding I don't have a hired wedding planner. It's me and a friend is coordinator for the day because as I had started searching and trying to decide if I was going too use one or not. So my FH boss told me about some apps with planning that what lead me here. With using this wedding wire app to help me navigate helping me so much with planning our wedding which is in a few weeks away and trying to keep cost down but I did have 2 blessing of help to pay for our officiant and half of our DJ.
