How are you still celebrating on your originally planned wedding date?

Hi brides! For those of you like me who have had to cancel/postpone/reschedule your weddings, any ideas on what to do on the day you were originally going to have your wedding to still celebrate and make it special from home quarantine? Would love your thoughts. We were supposed to get married on 4/11 and now we're just going to be at home together so what should we do?!

I was thinking about making a nice dinner together. I don't want to sit and be upset that day. The goal will be to just stay as busy as I can.

    Hi Jenny,

I'm sorry that wedding planning is not going the way you've imagined. However, your decision to celebrate the original wedding date in some way makes perfect sense to me. Smiley heart

Other couples have reached out for ideas to commemorate the day, so WeddingWire has posted a fun article. It's positioned for people who can't go on their honeymoons, which I completely understand is different than a wedding (but also disappointing to those couples). You'll find it here: 8 Staycation Ideas If You Can't Go On Your Honeymoon.

Many of us are spending our days at home, so these suggestions could be a way to make your quarantine time together extra special. Hope this helps!
