Split them up. Have FH contact some, have FILs and your parents contact others. Also you will have to make time to call people.

Don't bug them until the deadline has passed. Some people might still be trying to figure out arrangements to see if they can come (babysitting, finances, lodging, etc) and will reply closer to the date. A lot of other people just always wait until the last day to do something.

Once the deadline has passed you should call them individually. You can get help from other people with this if they are willing to help.

And you wait until after the deadline has passed. Like JCC to JCB mentioned, you'll just have to make time. It's part of planning a wedding.

When a lot of people see the deadline, they don't think about the fact that mail needs time to travel. So they drop it in the mail on the due date. I would wait until then to contact people.

We are having a similar issue. But the deadline for ours is Tuesday so over next weekend I am going to call some people and so is FH. Our parents are going to contact their friends who haven't responded yet. The mail though is ridiculous. I know people mailed us back rsvps and we haven't gotten them yet.

Thank you for not wanting to post on Social media, I still cringe whenever I see someone do this. It is incredibly rude to all of your friends that are not invited.

I also agree to wait until the deadline has passed. (or on the deadline day), FB private message is Okay as well as email. If you have "groups" of people that need to reply, like the same group of friends that all know each other, or some cousins from the same side of the family.... you can send 1 email to that group. Do NOT mass email, its unperson-able.

i say text message is fine as well, I texted, fb-MESSAGED and emailed...depending on who it was. If they really want to come, they'll let you know.

They might've of just 'lost" your invitation in their pile of "junk mail" .....

Wait until the deadline passes and then send them each an email that says, "Worry you won't be joining us."

I have zero patience for this, as you can tell...
