How are you planning to pee in your dress? (this is serious, people)

This is silly. But I know it's nearly impossible to pee on your own at all in your wedding gown, but is anyone having to plan some crazy stunts for this? I bet some of you will be able to manage alone, but fit and flare is NOT a full bladder's friend... I remember watching Bethenny Frankel pee into...

I remember watching Bethenny Frankel pee into a champagne bucket before her wedding...seems legit Smiley smile

(I'm resisting the urge to put this in the "do it yourself" section lol)

I miraculously didn't have to pee from the time my dress went on til when it came off (about 3pm to a little after 11). I was actually shocked at this , since I usually have to go often , so maybe you'll get lucky. Smiley winking And yes I did eat and had 3 glasses of champagne , shot of whiskey and 1/2 a tequila sunrise along with a glass of water ..

@future mrs hall, my momma always taught me if you have to pee in spanx, move it to the side (like really to the side, where it almost cuts off circulation in your thigh, and you should be ok!

I'm also planning on just taking my dress off, doing my business, and then putting it back on.

I have a ball gown, but am wearing a hoop, so I will have some assistance from a lucky helper and the hoop makes it easy to hold the dress up over me.

I haven't thought about this. I have a mermaid dress and its pretty easy to get into. Hmmmm I might just have my BM's unzip me and get out of my dress completely.

I AM SO HAPPY !! that I am not the only one who thinks and may be freaked out by peeing in her dress. I am going to try the backwards method and maybe go commando??? I honestly have no idea and there will be booze at my wedding and you know what they say about breaking the seal.. It's a good thing my sisters love me. GREAT POST!

My dress is a beaded drop waist. It can literally stand on its own theres so many layers. Not to mention it zips down. I can put it on & take off w/o assistance (tried & true). To save time I'll probably have my sisters zip & unzip. But I plan on just stepping out and stepping in when done.

Marchbride: same here! For some reason, after I got the dress on, I totally forgot about using the bathroom, except toward the very end of the night

No joke, Mrs. Bauer!! All that champagne has got to go somewhere lol

I have no shame, so I'll subject my BMs to whatever it takes. I've found that once you've given birth you really don't care what people see...

As soon as I pee once (break the seal) I will have to pee over and over again. I am really hoping to not need to, but on a regular day I drink so much water, and I know that drinking a ton of water will be important on the day of too.

My dress fits perfect that j can just pull it up to my waistans then pee backwards. And will be able to wipe myself. I will make sure though to have someone check my dress before leaving the restroom to make sure everything is perfect again.

Maybe for everyone planning to take off the dress, have a hanger handy in the bathroom to keep it on. And a tide to go stick just in case something weird happens.

I'll probably have my mom help me. More than likely I'll sit backwards on the toilet.

OMGoodness I would have never thought about this! But glad I read everyone's thoughts on it.... looks like facing toilet is the way to go if you do not want to completely remove the dress.

I have a ballgown and private bathroom in the bridal suite... so I'm just planning to take the dress off to use the bathroom normally... I'll bring a helper to zip/unzip me but thats about it. I like my privacy and comfort lol
