How are you planning to pee in your dress? (this is serious, people)

This is silly. But I know it's nearly impossible to pee on your own at all in your wedding gown, but is anyone having to plan some crazy stunts for this? I bet some of you will be able to manage alone, but fit and flare is NOT a full bladder's friend... I remember watching Bethenny Frankel pee into...

I remember watching Bethenny Frankel pee into a champagne bucket before her wedding...seems legit Smiley smile

(I'm resisting the urge to put this in the "do it yourself" section lol)

Lol@Theresa I can just about imagine that happening. Also I am kinda surprised no one had ever brought up that concern, only the one about #1.

I had my MOH with me in the bathroom. She helped me out of my dress and held it up while I went haha. It was the only way I could go. It was too tight so I had to take it off.

My dress is A-line and just zips up, so it will be easy to get on and off. So I will take it off completely.

My MOH asked me if she would have to help with this..I told her not to worry about it and that i was planning on just pulling my dress up and peeing in the ocean! Hahahaaa!! I'm kidding. I'll probably have someone unzip me so I can take off the dress before handling business.

My gown was not fitted, so I gathered all the material in the front and one of my BM's had to hold it up. Luckily for them, I only pee'd twice the whole day.

My mom said when she got married the bridal room in the church was also one of the nurseries. So the toilet was like 12 inches off the floor. LOL. And yes, she had to pee with her big poofy dress on. No mermaids 30 years ago. Good thing she's short!!

Everyone talks about this, however after practicing with my sister, ect.. they night went so fast and i didn't even go to the bathroom at all.. It was so strange, my hubby and I looked at each other and realized that neither of us went to the bathroom all night.. Just go before the ceremony before you put your dress on.. the next 4 or 5 hours pass so fast you probably won't even need to go.

Damn. One more thing. I never even thought about this until just now.

I think I can swing it on my own though.

I went to the bathroom about three times before putting on my dress- and it worked! I didn't have to go all night! I wore by dress from abut 2:30pm-12:30am. Writing it down it just sounds weird.. but I was kinda thankful that I didn't have to go in the dress.

I'd recommend going to the bathroom right before putting on your dress, and then have a plan (the garbage bag trick, walking backwards over the toilet, etc).

Everyone I know calls me a "camel" since I go to the bathroom about once a day so I doubt I'll run into this issue, but if I do I'll probably just face the other way on the toilet.
