Oh no, I hope your affected family members are doing okay and having manageable symptoms. I am so sorry!

I try to tell my friends who get sad about all these limitations that at the end of the day we get so cAught up about what we don’t have that we forget about all the good we do have. For instance ok yes we gotta shelter in place but at least we get to do it in the comfort of our own home, etc.

I'm so sorry. We live in the NYC metro area, so we understand.

ILs live *in* NYC, and it's so weird to not be able to visit them. We're coping as best we can, though we are both furloughed and getting a bit stir-crazy.

We are watching a lot of Animal Planet to get through this - they've been showing so many shows that are just about small, fuzzy things. It sounds silly, but it's very nice to have that in the background, as we try to keep busy.

I have left my house ONCE in over a week for groceries and I had a cover over my nose/mouth (not because it could protect germs but because it keeps me from touching my face which I am horribly guilty of doing too much.) It's been very strange but C19 complications could send my FH to the hospital (which is turning people away!) So, we are being careful.

My future father in law has it too and was sent home a few days ago, he is feeling a little better. My mom is still there. I haven’t seen either of them in a month and it’s breaking my heart. Im trying to keep my thoughts positive and optimistic, i have actually paid less attention to the news because it is upsetting and i have to keep a clear positive mind for my mom and future father in law.
