hmua Trial- Destination Wedding

Hey ladies! I'm doing a destination wedding in FL and will be there for Thanksgiving since we are visiting family. I've planned to get my HMU Trial while I'm there. Just talked to my HMUA and she says she's 2.5 hours away. I can go see her or have her come to me. I'd be ok with her coming to me but I'm not super close with my future MIL and am not sure how to ask that. Not really ok with driving 5 hours either though since I'd be gone almost the entire day and would feel really bad about that with it being the holidays. This will be the only time we are down there again until the wedding. Any suggestions on what to do here would be awesome!

I’m not doing a trial for my destination wedding even though we’ll be there four days early and I could if I wanted. I don’t think it’s an absolute necessity. But if you really want the trial done, just ask your FMIL if it’s ok for your stylist to come by the house. Otherwise you could meet her in the middle and just rent a hotel room for an afternoon. I also don’t know if telling you that she’s so far is her way of hoping you’ll say never mind to the trial. I personally wouldn’t want to pull someone else away from their family over the holiday either.

I'm not doing a trial for my destination wedding either. I would feel the same as you and feel bad about missing out on holiday events!

The good news is it's at the very end of the holiday- that Sunday before we head back. We will have 4 days before then to spend with the fam. I'm pretty indecisive about my hair and I'm going for a glam makeup look so that's why I'd really like to do the HMU trial. That and I've already paid for it. Looks like we may be able to rent a spot and meet half way though!
