so here we are 4 days before the big day, my photographer hasn't answered me back and i can no longer find her in social media and I already paid her half. what should I do? I'm so stressed that my chest is starting to hurt and I'm legit loosing it.

I would start your search for a new photographer. You lose $250 but, better to be safe. Also, make sure you leave a review everywhere you can online.

I'm so glad to hear you were able to find a new photographer! Smart idea to file the police report too. I would leave negative reviews for her on as many sites as you can (Wedding Wire, The Knot, Google, Facebook, etc). I'm so sorry this all happened, but hopefully you're able to recover your deposit and also prevent others from falling into the same trap.

Scary, I for one would have neve hired a photographer that wouldn't hold themselves accountable. But what's done is done, I would search for another photographer.
