It's a good thing that you found another photographer just in case. And like I said if she doesn't end up showing I'd definitely try seeing if you can get your deposit back because her not answer you back in 2 weeks and deactivating her account is not an emergency situation.

My only thought is maybe she just recently went out of business and hasn't had the chance to update everything. I would look for a new photographer ASAP.

My videographer ghosted me the week of my wedding so I messaged him on Thumbtack, email, phone, Facebook you name it. He ended up showing up and doing a beautiful job. I only say this to let you know that it may turn out fine. BUT, I agree that this is not okay and you shouldn’t wait to look into alternatives. I would start pricing other photographers right now.

View Quoted Comment Don't worry about if it makes you look like a crazy person, it is 4 days before your wedding and she isn't responding and it sounds like she either went out of business or is just scamming you. She's lucky you haven't found her home address and aren't knocking on her door right now because that's what I would be doing lol I would definitely also look into another photographer because you don't want to not have any photographer if she doesn't get back to you. Oh no, that's awful!! Best if luck finding a new photographer, though. And I agree about trying to get your deposit back. Totally unfair. The least they could do was explain.

She just messaged me that same thing and said her husband ran off with her baby and she has no money

Hey everyone here's an update, i was actually scammed and I'm currently fighting for my deposit back, she's telling me that police cant do anything and that she has till my day to give me a reply.
